AR Concepts 911R tail light question ?

More than one of us using them. Would other's mind posting their car's? Also what did you use for a seal between the bumper and the car's body? I am looking for a single piece of trim to seal up the rear impact bumper..

Thanks!

These are just the ones I could fine.

I have a gap here I want to get rid of. Do I need to add to the bumper?

The first car pictured (mine) doesn't have the AR Concepts pieces. Mine are one-off's from before AR Concepts was making them.

AR Concepts' pieces have much better fit and finish than mine, but faithful reproductions of the 911 rear bumper still leave a gap below the light assembly. Maybe AR Concepts (or someone) should make a bumper with tighter tolerances than the factory specified?

I don't have seals on mine, and mine has a funky 'ledge' to the left of the leading edge of the light due to excessive bondo in the quarter panel.

Has anyone ever used body putty to fill in the cracks/lines where the part fits into the body?

I'd like to see what that looks like...

no, you don't need a gasket. At least I have not and I have driven mine in rain many times. I am actually replacing a bulb at the moment. Important is to use some silicone to seal things up to keep the water out.

Thanks Jack. I had wondered if it was just mine. I'll give Dave at TRE a call on Monday and see if they have found an answer for the trim seal.
