Alt rebuilder in Va area
 
While I'm in there I want to have my alt gone through and tested. I can install brushes and bearings, but I want someone who will go through mine and then bench test it before I re-install it. Advice?

Plenty in the the NoVA area. Look up Armature or Arlington Armature. ASG in Merrfield would probably do it for you too.

They're the best Porsche repair guys in VA. Don't have the number handy. They're on Dorr Ave. in Merrifield, next to the Dunn Loring Metro.

Rebuilding these alternators is not rocket science. I'm sure any competent foreign alternator rebuilder in your area can do the job. In fact, they may even have one on the shelf available for exchange. Good luck!
