How to hook up 964/993 Tach on 3.6 motor swap?

I just bought a factory 964 tach to replace my autometer one, but I'm not quite sure how to get it wired up. The 964 tach seems to have a little clip in the rear which accepts a wiring harness to hook up with all the pins. I read this thread, but there isn't much wiring detail:

Gauge update to 993/964 done (pictures)

Does anyone know where I can buy a wiring harness clip with a few inches of wire hanging out the back to solder? I would prefer this method over directly soldering wires to each pin of the tach.

964/993 Tach

I ended up soldering wires on the end of the pins as like you, nobody came forward with a harness/plug. Someone said you could find wire splices or something like that which would fit over the individual pins but I couldn't find them. After I soldered on short pieces of wire I slipped over some shrink wrap around the soldered joint/pins to insulate them. MGH
