would it be possible to get the outcome of this? My shop has had businees dealings with your shop, I am suprised you took non-race work there, as I understood (or at least had the impression) that they were performance-only.

As a side note, we have stopped doing business with them as well.

Sure..I'll post late next week. This is the first Porsche I ever owned. I had itr since 88 and I HAVE to get it back.

As TRE wrote, you may want to see if a newspaper writer would go with you as well.

Heh, he. TRE said take a newspaper (for the date), not a reporter! However, the thread starter said something about a TV reporter. Frankly, I don't think this is "news."

Sounds like the lawyer had the correct procedure at hand and you are going at this properly. You won't need a witness or a thing. Just your spare keys and some transportion, be it a wrecker or a trailer.

That should do it!
Good Luck Man!

Crow

Well..I have to eat a tad of crow here..While everything I told you was true...time, couldn't see car, etc...I finally got them to produce the car...and low and behold, it was all there, and with new paint to boot. I was dumbfounded when I saw it. It was in a trailer waiting on the new windshield...I was right in the beginning- He was embarrassed it was taking so long....The car looks super and I should have it home in a week. All the parts were there, and it was running...the 67S wheels were still on it, all the $$$$ softwindow hardware was on it..

So..I need some salt

!!!!!!!!Happy Story!!!!!!

Glad it worked out. Too bad it took all that BS to get it.

Can't say I'm happy, but it's in my garage..really only thing that changed in 4 years is I got a new windshield...Has new paint, but hey, it had new paint 4 years ago. Email if interested in details...no sense posting it here. Paint looks good...from 10 feet.
