I thought you all might like to see these photos I took today at the Region 7 Concours in Carmel Valley . A pretty good show of cars for a local event. From 356's to the latest 911 there was something there for everyone to enjoy.

Do you guys do this in the Valley every year? I have driven by this event on multiple occasions, back when I didn't have a P-car. I knew from the first photo where it was, without reading...homesick again.

I'm really not sure as I've only had my car since January. We read about the event in the local paper on Saturday and thought this would make a great day out on Sunday. Next year I think we'll show our car in either display or Wash and Shine. As per usual eveyone was very friendly and took real pride in their cars and showing all the work they had done. We only stayed for an hour then went out to the Baja Cantina for lunch - remember that place? it's as great as ever. Driving over the Laurel grade into the valley is always a blast.....

Thanks for the pics, Matt. With only 8 posts, I think you will be a great Pelican member in that you took the trouble to post many fine shots. The black Speedster and Roadster next to one another are especially cool to me.

People have always been great at the various concours, even looking at a primered Ragmuffin. Yes, definately take you car in next time.

Zeke - The roadster and speedster were great cars, in fact there were many fine 356's present. I'll post some more photos when I get home tonight, I tried to put more in the original post but I guess there must be a limit as I had the, too many photos error message!! You've got to love these digital cameras, I tend to lick away like a mad man at times.
