IMO, the booster venturis, unless they're clogged, are a non-factor in regards to your symptoms. They're more sensitive to airflow and allow fuel to discharge into the throat at lower air speed (or venturi vacuum) for more even, part-throttle fuel distribution
Bad pump or FPR, clogged filter, stuck advance weights, misadjusted throttle linkage, faulty rev-limiting rotor, faulty CD unit were all possible culprits as was your good-bad-good coil.
