Yep, we're good on the venturies. Still not sure if I should have the long "booster" style one's in there or not. Anybody know about those?

IMO, the booster venturis, unless they're clogged, are a non-factor in regards to your symptoms. They're more sensitive to airflow and allow fuel to discharge into the throat at lower air speed (or venturi vacuum) for more even, part-throttle fuel distribution

Bad pump or FPR, clogged filter, stuck advance weights, misadjusted throttle linkage, faulty rev-limiting rotor, faulty CD unit were all possible culprits as was your good-bad-good coil.

Good to know on those venturies, I just thought they looked cool and wanted to see how they worked... good reasoning huh?!

I'll see how things go with a road test tonight though.
