Playing around today....but have questions!
Here are some pictures of the car while I was out playing today (golf that is). Took the pics on a whim.
The question I have is that I stayed on the range about an hour and the car would not start. The ol' crankin and crankin' but no startin'. Pulled the fuel pump fuses (or are they relays...the big black round things up front?) and cranked it and it started right up. My accumulator is about 1 1/2 years old as well as filter ect. I can't think of what it is that is causing it. Any help is appreciated. well..wouldn't you be pissed too if your owner were out driving golf balls instead of doing the right thing and driving the piss out of you? (so to speak..;))

I had a proplem with my SC on a drive from San Diego to Seattle, I pulled over in the middle of nowhere to take a nap and when I awoke the darn thing would not start. I shook and checked many things but what it ended up being was the wire plug on the left side of the engine compartment aft of the CDI down where the fuses are. ( sorry I dont have a manual with me to give you a more specific answer)

What about the fuel pump check valve? It is usually that or the accumulator.

Where is the check valve? and is it easy to replace?

check valve should be attached at the business end of the fuel pump. it is either mounted up front near the fuel tank or underneath the drivers side rear of the car near the wheel well..it looks like a 'fitting' attached to the end of it leading to the fuel line. good luck.
