Calling all 75 Carreras
I wonder just how many 1975 Carreras are still out there? If you have a 75 (wrether you know your production number or not) send a picture and any history you would like to share. I believe the older, classic, vintage Porsches will continue to appreciate as "good ones" become harder and harder to find.
Whenever I take mine to an event or fun run I take real pride in seeing the guys with the $80K shinny new Porsches strolling over to admire her.

That is a really sweet 75!
Since we are taking roll, 911540083 is present! #83 had one owner from 1975 to Dec 04 when I bought her. Previous owner took great care of the car and kept great records. Great topic! Looking forward to seeing other "survivors"! ![]()

Well, I see you're both here!
![]() Beautiful examples too. Would love to have a nice one here in CA. as 1975 is the first year of smog exemption. Last edited by TerryH; 07-24-2005 at 10:24 AM.. |

Hello,
this is my second- hand 911s. It is car 173 out of 510 '25th year Porsche Silver Anniversary Edition' vehicles. I bought her last year from the first owner.. What does my 1975 broschure say? 'But we feel it only fair to warn you, It's easy to start driving a Porsche. It is a lot harder to stop driving a Porsche'. So she became my daily driver..
