Intercooler with original 77 930 tail?
Anybody know how I can add an intercooler while retaining the first generation tail? The i/c on my TDI looks like it would fit, but it's water/air. Would be willing to sacrifice the rear wiper motor and assembly, and heat to the driver's side if need be. I'm not looking for big hp numbers, just something to keep the temp down a bit. Thanks

get rid of the a/c and air filter and mount one in the big hole you created. you will have to mount an electric fan on it though, because there won't be proper airflow.
