Red face Oil leaks revisited

Hey guys/and gals. I have the engine out of mt 78 sc. Its been
cleaned and looks a million times better than it did

(it have about 5 lbs of gook).

The proeblemis that it was leaking oil from what seemed to be the pistonchambers, right near the block. I have replace every seal thatyou can. I dont want to put it back together and find a nice leak. So my question is: whats the easiest way to test the oilleaks whilethe engine is out. Cheers James

By the way I paid 6750.00 US for the car,

For some reason I can post the picture of it????

You should check for broken head studs. Do a search and you'll see what I'm talking about. If the headstuds are broken the cylinders won't seal well at the junction with the case (as well as not sealing where the heads meet the cylinders). There is no way that I know of to check for leaks without running the engine.
