fuse box update,

I'v had a quick look for this but can't find it ,It has been up before.
I'm looking at replacing the old fuses with the blade type. Has any one done this to there cars and is it worth the effort?.
thanks Steve.

I have done the mod on my car using the parts I purchased through mouser.com. I had to modify the fuse holder to allow the to fit into the original frame. I ran jumpers for any of the fuses that originally had links on the old fuse blocks. I have not powered up the circuits since the car is in storage and I won't be working on it for the next couple of years. I moved three months ago and have a house that requires all my time renovating.
