plug ?
Left rear engine compartment picture below. Just below relay are two plugs. One is round with 3 pins (like 02 sensor) and the other is rectangular in shape. My car is a cab. Is one for the rear window defroster which I don't have?

Looks like the test terminal for checking frecuency valve duty cycle on the 81-83 911sc cars . Is this for an 83` cab or the 87` you show in your signature ?

Well judging by the air tube to the right of the plugs this is indeed a 3.2 engine and not a CIS engine . So it is not a frec valve test term as I first thought.

Sorry for incomplete info. Yes, this is an 87 3.2 cab.
