Changing Fuel Injectors

I am changing out all of my Fuel Injectors. I have got 6 FIs, 6 seals, 6 insulator bushings, and 6 insulator bushing seals. I understand where everything goes except the FI insulator bushing seals. Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

Hi Slater. I think that is the seal, a black O-ring that goes around the insulator. I got that, but I also have a fatter, gray O-ring. I am suspecting it seals the insulator to the Fuel injector somehow................

there should be a fat oring that goes on to the injector itself. It will be towards the threaded end of the injector, and seals the injector to the sleeve. It should be a tight fit to get it on the injector.

Eurika! Thats it! Thanks Slater. I am going to soak mine in hot water before I do it to make it pliable, but it all makes sense now. Thanks again!

912 2.7? Did you put a 2.7 in a 912?
