Any expeirence with Partsheaven?

I am starting the search for a 3.0 to put into my new(to me) 76 coupe. I was talking to them about a motor. Does anyone have any experience dealing with them? Any info is appreciated.

I've bought a few parts from them--low dollar. They were very helpful and easy to work with. I would do business from them again. Not sure about purchasing a motor from them though--hopefully you will get some more feed back from others.

I work very close to Partsheaven. They are the best. Very helpful, most any part you can imagine. All the new parts you may need also.

Highly recommended.

I was down there today for some little things... and I've dealt with them many times in the past. I haven't bought a complete motor from them but if I needed one they are the first place I'd go... they're a great outfit - highly recommended...

Parts Heaven is awesome. The staff is very friendly and enjoy what they are doing. All the parts that I got from them are in great condition. Everything that I had shipped had a lot of cushion with it in the box, so your parts should all arrive in one piece. All of the Porsche parts that I needed came from Parts Heaven, and all are still working great. I am highly recommending them.

They are about an hours drive from me so I've been going there for years. I've never purchased an entire engine from them but I've found them to be honest in all their dealings with me and others. They know their stuff and they have even advised me to not purchase things that are expensive and don't give dramatic results.

If I were going to purchase an engine I would feel good about getting it there.

Hope that helps.

I spoke with them about a fender. They were very responsive. They supplied detailed photos and pointed out a few problem areas. That was a big help as I am on the right side of the Country.
I would recommend them.

You all are nuts..... I ordered an RSR motor from them, paid $48,000.00 cash for it , the crate arrived & it turns out to be a 1977 Ford Pinto 4 cyl with a thrown rod. I call & call & they just say it was a shipping mix up. My lawyer writes them a letter & he mysteriously disappeares on a fishing trip in Utah. I go there myself & am pelted with old 944 interior parts (No No...not the plastic speaker cover...ouch, that hurt...). These guys are ruthless...in fact knowbody named Ruth has EVER even visited them. Run by a guy named "Big Al"...sits behind a cluttered desk smokin' a big cigar and yelling at anyone that even LOOKS his direction...

Oh Oh...time for my medication................

(Yes...they DO have a web site. Great guys to work with, Jeff, Spencer & Al plus Ed, Vi & the rest of the "back room gang")

I've only heard from one guy who made a "big" purchase from PartsHeaven - a complete transmission. Apparently something was not right with it at first. PartsHeaven did everything required to make it right in the end.

Therefore it would seem to me that PartsHeaven treats the big stuff just like the little stuff. They do things right, they are very knowledgeable, and they are very customer focused.

I've only bought little stuff from them (fortunately I've only needed little stuff), but they would also be my first choice for bigger stuff as well.

Tom

from what I can tell...they almost can't keep up with demand for "big ticket" items like motors-transmissions-orange bar crests....they sell LOTS & LOTS of these (well...maybe not the orange bar crests...), & if they were screwin' up...you'd get a megabite full of flames, right here.......

No Worries Mate !

I freaking love them. Three or four purchases with them, and they were an absolute joy. They made spending money sooo easy.

Last time I was there they had a motor on an engine stand with gas hookup, battery, etc. So they seem to be able to bench tests engines.
