Need to raise the passenger side rear ride height half an inch

My car is sitting just about a half an inch higher on the drivers side rear than on the passenger side. Can anyone tell me how to raise the passenger side ride height using the torsion bar adjustment bolts located behind the rear tire? there are 2 lots there, I need instructions.

If you're measuring the fender height, the differences could be due to lots of things like past accident damage, or just the way they built your car. If you are measuring the suspension, that's a different story.

There are lots of posts on here on how to do a corner balance at home. Search on "corner balance" and see what comes up.

Walter is right. Your car could be perfectly balanced but the height is not exact...pretty common scenario. It is more important to be balanced than have the height matched.
If your balance is off, a simple adjustment may not be so simple. Depending on the year, you may no adjustment at all on the springplate or you may have no adjustment left and will need to reindex the torsion bars.

to answer to your original post, this might help.
there is also a height adjustment bolt at the back of the front a arm.
as you raise or lower, do a road test between adjustments to settle the suspension, then keep measuring each fender again, as an adjustment at any corner will effect the other three.

Does it sit level with you in the car? That should be the way the car is corner balanced?

Before you adjust anything, isolate the front end from the rear using a tripod lift (see archives). Knowing the opposite end isn't affecting the ride height, you can proceed with the suggested ride height adjustment methods and maintain closer corner balance.

Put someone in the drivers seat at about your weight then measure. Also look at the right front measurement; raising the right front will lower the left rear.

You'll probably be glad if you first go buy a ride height wrench. A half inch is a lot of difference. We're not talking fine tuning here. If the clamp nut is really really stuck, then you may have to remove the spring plate to blast it off with heat/impact wrench. Once the clamp nut is loose, the adjustment is pretty easy.
