17" Track Wheels
Are there any reasonable options? In 16's you can get a set of steelies for $500, but I don't see anything reasonable in 17's. I love the Fikse FM10's or Lindsey Fuchs, but $2000 is a little more than I bargained for.

Cheapest, good 17's going are CCWs. Won't comment on using old centers with a lindsey wheel for track/race duty, but I don't think you will find new fikse, kinesis, or forgeline wheels for less than 1k more than CCWs at $1800 a set.
Basically, if budget is the primary concern, buy a set of fat steelies from Souk.....

Fikses can be had for around 2500 , a little more for Kinesis. I have the Kinesis K27 but my next set will be CCW, i don't think you can beat them for the price.
