1989 Carrera Electric Windows
I purchased a beautiful 89 Carerra Targa a few months back and have noticed that the passenger side electric window runs down slower than the Drivers side. Additionally If I try to run both sides down simultaneously they are very slow. Is this normal or can anyone offer further trouble shooting advise or solutions?

Mine does the same thing. Passenger side motor is new and it's still slower than the drivers side.

As the cars get older the seals swell. They need to be replaced. This will fix the problem. Or, test it..... put a little water on the window.......... goes down easy doesn't it?

I'm having the same issue on the Pax side, and an intermittant non-op problem on the drivers side.
Maybe it's time to clean the gears and things generally. |

BCheney your car is beautiful. A slight lowering would be the finishing touch. My Carrera has realtively slow action as well. My Ford Explorer has turbo charged windows in comparison.

Thanks for the compliment on our car. I have still not done anything about the ...just enjoying the car in our nice Florida weather.
