883@5800 Rear Wheel Hp you have to look at this!

I Called a long time friend and old business partner today, to catch up. We havent talked in almost a year. Asked him how his Pcar was doing.Told me he had a new one and to check out the pictures.

Holy #$%& mother of #$% you have to look at this!! He drives it on the street! Also takes it to the track. We started a business together in our early twenties and I moved on to other things. Believe it or not we made Body jewelry using CNC machines. He still manufactures. Sorry about the rambling, Thought Pelicans might find this one interesting!!!!

PS He was ok with me posting link!

Wow! Amazing horsepower, and a very clean install too!

Any pics of the exterior of the car?

He does not have any posted. I was blown away by the pics. I think he said it runs a 9.9 at 147mph in the quarter on street tires.

I thought the 993 Turbo was AWD. On the dyno video, it appears to be RWD.

With a 1/4 time like that, 0-60 is about 3 seconds flat!

I think I have a couple pictures here somewhere - I saw the car at a Dave White swap meet (if it's the same one)

Wow, I would love to have one of those. Just make sure and DON'T drive your Porsche directly after driving/riding in that!

No doubt would be quite the let down. Although his last Pcar was extremely fast as well.

no its AWD they disconnected the front. I told Dennis {the owner}to register with pelican so he could answer question. Not trying to represent this as mine, it is a friend's, but I have known him since highschool. I am Steve aka Gliderguy. Hope he will chime in according to him the horsepower has gone up since then. He is going to post some updated info to the link. He also said most people will think the torque rating is bogus, but that is really it!!!

You can disconnect the axle that connects the transmission to the front axle pretty easily. I've seen it done. It took 15 minutes.
