Can't make Saturday but possibly on Sunday. What is the approx. time of departure and route? I might get up and make it a long day trip.
After last Friday's outing with Dane I'm hooked..................

No, he wouldn't complain about the driving....he would complain about having to STOP at the Peace Arch. Too much Pow Wow.

Friends and Fellow-Porsche-Nuts:
Pow-wow and chatting is great AFTER the drive. Over the years, I have been on many runs and hate to wait for late-comers; not only coming late, but ordering breakfast and expect that we just wait. To be sure, Scooter92, Drago, Island911 and others, when you say we start at 8:00, to me that means DRIVING. If it means to you that at 8:00 you start the socializing, please, let me know. Saturday is the usual summer-tourist-traffic and sitting in some Donut Shop while the traffic, and the heat, build up doesn't make sense. We are grown-ups and should be able to appear on time, with a full tank. On the last run to Salmon Arm, we finally made it out at 10:30 and even then people had to go and gas up first. ![]() I would like to hear some other voices on this: Are we driving at 8:00, or are we meeting at 8:00? Here is to the Pow-wow AFTER the drive.

Gunter is right about needing to get an early jump on traffic . That said; this isn't exactly the German train system. If everyone seems to be there, and ready to go at 7:30, then we will leave at 7:39 and 11 seconds. ![]() On the weather; Seattle area: ![]() Eastern WA area: ![]() Sunny w/ highs in the low 80's . .. such a Helll-hole we live in

try getting a five-day chart for the entire eastern Washington area
and since Spokane is usually a bit hotter than Wenatchee anyway...

![]() Well, that's a touchy subject . .lets talk about something trivial, like the weather. Dane, how cool does it have to be for you to take your 911 out of the garage? You know you don't want to miss this. . . .lot's of photo-op's. (and I still haven't seen you car in person.) Maybe if you install those pop-out qtr windows, you could get some air-flow though the car. . . .or is it an engine cooling problem, with that big ol' 3.6 stuffed in back there?

Guys... all kidding aside, us Canuckleheads (except for Gunter) are HOPING to be there at 7:30, but have thrown in an extra half-hour safety net in case of border issues, etc.
Anyone have a cel phone number they can provide me so that we can update you guys if we run into any issues, or deer? |
