A search of 915 posts reviels the following statement.

A 1-piece bearing retainer is wise for any 915 rebuild, and an absolute must in any track car.

My question is, where might I find such an animal.

Noah, why did you change it out?

I recall vaguely that there is an advantage to the aftermarket part, but would it contribute to problems getting into gears while on the track?
