Yeah Michael, the spring plates were new last year when I rebuild the suspension. They are later plates that have been recoated.

Anzures: I need $15000. There is an extensive list of repairs, upgrades, etc. that I have made to the car. Man, that's something like 0.50 on the dollar! If you would like to know more please email me at troyolivadoti@msn.com.

Thanks for the kind words.

That is a lot of money into what looks like a 74 or 75, what all did you do?

Makes me nostalgic for my first 911--a '75 Silver Anniversary Targa. I replaced the motor with a 3.0, backdated the exhaust and ran it for over 10 years. Then I sold it for exactly what I had paid for it 10 years earlier! Now, admittedly, I spent $1200/yr. average on upgrades, paint, repairs and maintenance. But that's a cheap hobby, don't you think?

Sorry for the delay in replying, I had to get some sleep!

I have three little kids that need my time more and more. Every time I work on the car or take a drive with my P-car buddies, I steal time from them. Right now I don't want the distraction of the 911.

Michael, the list is really long but I'll summarize:
Rebuilt 2.7 with all the upgrades, tranny too. I rebuilt the suspension with help of Chuck Moreland at Elephant Racing. I put in 21/27 mm torsion bars, polybronze bushings, new Konis, new sway bar bushings, new wheel bearings, rebuilt the brakes, new ss brake lines, new fuel pump, new engine sound pad, new Recaro SRD seats, new headliner and window rubber, new door and trunk seals, new Yoko AVS tires, and more.
Its car number 154 of the limited production Silver Anniv. Coupe. I think they made something like 500 coupes and 250 Targas to commemerate Porsches 25 year.
If I can't sell it for $15K, then I guess I'll keep it.

I plan to buy something newer in a couple of years.

Thanks for the kind words,
Troy

I can understand that, only having one takes most of my time, as it is sure fun.

Very nice car.
