Shipping Oil Lines

Has anyone ever shipped Carrera external oil lines (the long ones) via UPS, FEDEX, commercial freight or ???

I talked to a local UPS guy today, and he didn't want to deal with it after he saw pictures and measurements.

Any experiences?

Search didn't turn up any info.

Thanks for your help

Joe Frantz

I had some shipped from POVI here on the forum. He basically tied them flat to a 3/16 sheet of plywood and boxed it all up. Had them shipped all the way from New York to Canada via UPS for $90. No problems at all. There's no way with the way Joe packed them that they could bend or get damaged. UPS had no idea what they were. It just looked like a big flat box.

Thanks for the replies.
I think my mistake was showing them the lines and asking for their advice on packaging.
