Porsches in Paris (pics)

I turned my lense away from the Eiffel tower briefly to capture a few P-cars running around the Latin Quarter.

996s get NO respect. This poor, unkept car was parked on the street every night. It was filthy and littered with dings.

On the other hand, this very worthy example was quite nice. Anyone here?

A very pretty 356-

Another brother-

I'll just call it a Speedster-

First one, the 996, wears non french plates and apparently a bunch of tickets under the wiper. Probably a stolen car ;-)

Also on the first one, it looks like the front rotor has rust, like it has not been driven for a while.

Wow, when I was in Paris last summer I saw a total of 1, one, un, Porsche. It was an SC or a Carrera. I was actually rather surprised at the lack of P-car traffic.

These are not Paris, but Rome....don't tell my wife that this is one of my favorite pics from our honeymoon....

We didn't see many there either, and surprisingly few F-cars.

The second car is in Florence....that brought the P-car total to an unimpressive 2.

The 356s are more than likely fakes.....anything real is in Italy.

996 in Budapest. I only saw 3 x 911s in Hungary & only a couple of Boxsters & Cayennes. Including a nice 964 in Eger.

Vienna on the other hand had a lot of Porsches. This nice Carrera was in the ring.

That doesn't surprise me. I'm sure Beirut has money. How many older 911s though? There were a bunch of newer 911s running around Paris and London but they're more common everywhere than a nice classic. In fact, the only reason I snapped the 996 was because of it's appalling state.

This very pretty widebody was the oldest 911 I saw in London, near King's Road. I know there are a bunch of classics running around there, but I didn't see one.

The silver one zipping by was a fake I'm pretty sure. I thought the blue one was legit, but what do I know?
