why wont my car start

ok well my 1984 wont start i replaced the dme relay and that did not fix the problem. i can smell gas to i think the injection is working fine. it doesn't seem to be getting spark. what can check?

no spark...make sure its getting voltage...coil wire, not sure if there is a fuse in the loop, but if there is...check that...

does it have a cdi system ? if so do you hear the whine when ignition is on ?

i hear a buzzer when the ignition is on then that turns off after a few seconds. i check there is no voltage getting to the coil. what should i check from there?

Could be DME itself. I have an '84 too and had the same symptoms 2 weeks ago. That was my problem.

A few weeks ago, my 84 just quit. Three days at TRE and they diagnosed it as an internally shorted fuel injector. Very rare, very strange, killed all juice to the DME.

i can here the switches in the dme relay clicking so there has to be power going to it. just replaced the dme relay with one from this website. any other ideas?
