Insulation and weight savings on 84 Carrera
Have any of you guys used this stuff?
http://www.b-quiet.com/compare.html#comp I was thinking with it being 2005 and all and since technology has come a little ways since my car was conceived, that insulation materials have also... I was going to remove most of the insulation in my car and replace with that stuff - anyone done a weight comparo on the two? I am looking at things in the 5 lbs and under area for weight savings these days after doing the most common. Street/Track car with livable decibel levels - Have been in a few cars with the rear interior sound pad deleted and it was pretty noisy. Suggestions? -Jeff
