1977 Carrera 3.0 gap questions
 

Hi anyone know the spark plug and points gap sizes on a 77 Carrera 3.0. Not sure if the same as a US 2.7 or not.

The calvary is coming over Sunday to take a look at might problem, woud be nice to have correct setting for them.

Bump.

Same as 2.7
Bosch dist 38&#186 &#177 3 /.35mm gap

Oem plugs were Bosch W260 T2 (0.7mm gap)

I also used w/ good luck BoschWR5 DPand later ND W 24 ES GU all at the same gap.

You can blueprint the plugs for a tad better spark by rounding the ends and unshrouding the center electrode, if you do that a slightly bigger gap will work assuming the rest of the ignition system is optimal
