YaSir: You're going about it the right way. Most of of us learn by trail and error, starting at an early age. You'll be money ahead attending evening school. Beside, the school shop will have tools and equipment you could never justify purchasing yourself.
Like Zeke, I grew up racing go-karts and motorcycles with a dad that couldn't keep my bicycle running....I always done all my own work but regret I never learned to weld very well and have never done any machine work......Good luck..... |

I'll be installing a 4 post lift in my garage hopefully this winter and with an air compressor and air tools that i already have,i don't think I'll have any problem making friends.I know i can learn that way too but what i won't learn is the diagnosing part of the problem and to do that i have no other way but to go back to school and learn the proper route, time consuming and frustrating, yes but would it be rewarding and satisfying, you bet. I have pretty much made up my mind to join the program, wife has agreed and i have already filled out the application forms now lets see if i proceed with it tomorrow or not ;),last day of admission. |
