Actually the new property is bordered on one side by the university and the other side by a golf course. There is a LOT of local support for the project and they have serious people involved. For example; Mike Yurick was the manager at Sears Point for quite a number of years and then moved on to manage the huge Las Vegas race way complex for years after that (turning into a real business instead of a casino owner's toy!). I cannot think of a more focused person to do the job the right way

OK, Here's one. Turn 7, 935 of Jim Torres being hounded by Jags.

Hey Jeremy, I need to go thru some of my old videos. I think that I have Dave going into 9 and then coming in for a quick pit, in his home-brew 935 You're proll'y in it too!

Marty, I'm just scrathing the surface. Here's a couple for our Turbo lovers

And for our 924 Turbo friends

And what happens if you run too much boost during the 6 hour enduro?

Here's some of Dave out of Turn 9, but this is a chronological look at that car pre-Turbo era. It would be really fun to your shots when it was the full-on 935 powered monster. Boy, did that Bosch Bridge on the backstrait go by quick in that thing, Whew!

OK, I can't help myself, there's just something about an IROC tail at this angle.

Since 1998 I've been frequenting this board. This is the best thread I've ever seen. I get a real kick out of this board. To think that there are guys on this board who swapped spark plugs in 917's, and guys who are still racing 962's in competition, Dave B. in 935's, just makes me laugh.

Thanks Wayne. This little community is just incredible.

No kidding. All I can say is, "I'm not worthy!"

Great stuff.

Found this program from Oct. 1973 Riverside Times Grand Prix, it was the CanAm and IROC weekend
I'll have to resize some others to get those uploaded here ; )

Thanks jeremy for displaying part of the slippery slope one endures when being competitive in club events

Doubtful that that is a boost issue. It looks like the Cooke Racing (Chevy V8 powered) Lola T600.

Good catch. I vouch for that w/o even looking at the site. He was (is) very recognizable. That having been said, if that was him in the pics (on this BBS) of this year's Monterey Historics sitting in one of his cars (I'll see if I can find it), I didn't realize it.

Here it is, I guess that's him.....

That actually looks like Fitzpatrick and Hobbs at the 4/25/82 Riverside race.34th overall...That car in the picture is the Lowenbrau sponsored Kremmer K4 chassis # K4/01
