Historic Eye-Candy from Australia (los of pics)

Finally got my camera to download last weekend's activities...

This was the premiere historic racing event for the State of Queensland over here in Oz. It's no Monterey, but I think you'd agree that it was a nice turn out.

Very nice John. Is that the historic racing group that include other makes as well? Or was it just a porche meet?

I should have mentioned that it was for all makes, Porsche was the "featured" marque this year...

This is a genuine 911T/R. It was ordered by Australian importer Alan Hamilton for the 69 year (it is a 68). Light-weight panels, glass, and a 240hp twin spark 906 spec 2.0 engine.... this thing is sex on wheels!

This was a pretty race car...

So there you have it. Not a bad weekend for Porsches over here

Great photos John.

It was an amazingly good turn up considering the size of the P-car population here in Qld. Having the 2 RSK's, 3 935's, 934, the TR, and 356 Carrera's all in one place at one time, was a treat that probably will never be repeated here in Qld. We all felt rather blessed.

Also, we should mention that there were at least 100 Porsches there either on display or competing in the events. A great turn out.

John- Your driving on the wrong side of the car!!!
I remember reading about that T/R- very sweet car. Looks like a great turnout.
Gotta love "Fishvan" Blue. The Cayman S will look purrrty.
