Lunch drive pics - new toy

Had the day off work today and it was so beautiful I just had to go for a lunch drive. Took some pics on a new digi camera & thought I'd share them with you poor souls who had to work today (now where's that salt).
Here's a few shots of a local pub - food's nice and the beer garden down next to the tree is just perfect on a summer afternoon.

Just down the road from the pub is this headland. If I have to be put in the ground anywhere I reckon this place would probably do.

Love the colour of your car Gavin.

Yep, Sydney has some beautiful beach areas that make for great photo ops. Were these shots taken at the Northern Beaches?

Thanks Sheldon & Jorian. It's actually the northern suburbs of wollongong. Scarborough to be exact.

And they talk funny.

By the way, beautiful car. How far is that from the city?

Beautiful shots of the car!

About an hour and fifteen minutes from the cbd via freeway or a bit longer if you take the scenic route down through the national park and coast road.

Nope, just that the cemetary is located on the headland Thanks - pretty happy with the new camera. Havn't had a chance to fiddle with any of the settings but the pics seem to come out pretty nicely on auto point and shoot.

Nice to see a car on this forum with the steering on the "correct" side of the car - even if you are on the other side of the world to me! Here's another

Your forgot to tell our USA friends that this is what it looks like in Winter down here! No putting cars into storage - sunny drives 12 months of the year. Also, if the headland wasn't used as a cemetary it would have been used a a golf course - we have some of the most spectacular courses down the south coast of NSW.

Yep, every time I read about cars coming out of storage a]I get a momentary feeling of pity. It's nice to know that any time you feel like a drive, chances are it's clear and perfect As I type the sun is rising on another winter blue sky day in sydney. Tough world sometimes.
