Calif factory delivered with 18mm front and rear.

the T-bar hy ride is great. I wouldn't want it any harder. The 22mm front sway bar is Carrera afaik. and not every Carrera had that size.

I got this after logging of yesterday, you obviously mean Carrera as 84-88, not the 77 Carrera....

I hate Porsche for starting to call every 911 for Carrera. ;)

The 22/21 Carrera swaybars were on the 86 and up Carreras. The front remained the same into the G50 cars but the rear got a slight bend in the middle for trans clearance. The front and either rear bar will fit the older cars.I don,t know what was done with 930 bars in the same period but would expect they increased as well.

Tom,
You didn't mention tire pressures. How about tire size? A large differential will emphasize understeer.

Re: Thoms 2100 lb car...
at what point does this become oversprung? It seems to me that the prevailing logic says the cure all is to put in bigger springs. I have yet to see anyone say "I think I'll go with a little lesss spring rate".

I've been thinking about this for a couple of days, and I'm curious as to the answer.

That would be the point where the smooth track ends, and the public roads begin.

What Island said. I would think Thom's car on the street would be a venerable street hazard.

When it runs slower lap times.

I am trying to fully digest Tyson's comment regarding the RS America posted here earlier, and the importance of maximizing the tire contact on the rear. I suspect that the natural tendencies of a car during hard cornering is to get up on the outside wheels like Joey Chitwood at the state fair. The diagonal compent has to be such that the rear inboard wheel stays on the track, which I suspect the front sway bar will assist with to a great extent. More of the 20 variables stuff.

I guess I set myself up for the three previous answers to my last question, huh? I have to laugh at myself for being such a freaking nerd.
