send me some good Karma
just called , the garage dude is back in town
he left on holidays the week after i finally fired up the rebuild so it was just standing there, and i couldn't get to it for a full month  the axles are attached, just need to figure out how to make it idle ( to rich or not enough air, should not take too much time) then get the shifter linkage arranged , little brake test and i should be ready for the first short drive in about 19 months many setbacks, delays, and headaches... if anybody has some live chickens , and knows a voodoo priest in your area... or any other kind of good luck stuff , send some my way the beatup old 924 got me through the toughest of times, it goes sideways darn well but right now i urgently need a 911 fix , there is no substitute SmileWavy |
Good vibes, sent.

muttering to the East, babbling to the West, shouting North, babbling again towards South, rolled some Bones, fed the Dog some chicken, lighting some candles, sprinkle some dust, cleaned up dust and put in Medicine pouch...you are covered Texas style.

guys, not sure what you did , but it did work
the idle was fixed , i did 4 really short runs and the engine ran smoother and smoother as the day progressed it still hesitates at higher rpm under load, but i need to do more fine tuning.... can't redline anyway on the first kilometers of the rebuild , so that's no problem the tranny didn't get a rebuild , just the Swepco 101 and from what i can remember, my gearbox never shifted this good 2 years ago the worst is behind me , the big , critical parts work all that remains is the little individual things , rpm , temp , oil tank sensor, speedo, lights... and trim thanks for the help :D |
