Photos of Pre Historics at Monterey
I though you might enjoy some of the photos I took at the Pre Historics this weekend at Laguna Seca. For those who are unaware, the weekend before the Monterey Historic Races is called the "Pre Historics" This is the weekend when most of the competitors turn up basically to prepare for the next weekend. They have races in each of the classes, to make sure the cars are set up and also to give some practice track time. The great thing for the spectator is that this is a free event, very light crowds and a good chance to see the cars up close before the masses arrive.

Well, I didn't know anything about the "prehistorics" (LOL), but it looks good and sounds good to me. You got pics of some great cars. The 550 coupe is of particular interest to me.

There were a couple of coupes there, I'm no expert but I think the 1954 Carrera car is a Porsche 550 Coupe the #49 car was an Abarth.
