911 gearshift boot: What fits?
I am trying to replace my gearshift boot cover. I purchased a momo performance but there is no way it is going to work on my 1989 911. Can anyone suggest another after market brand. I just want a simple black leather cover.

if you mean the rubber accordian thing, there are leather ones on eBay - I think AGLA makes them if you dare buy from them after reading the recent thread...
but they go on over the rubber accordian

I found mine at the local Autozone. Check in the "rice" section. It is a universal fit but works well on my 915 shifter. Might work on your G50, too. If not, Pelican seems to sell different versions of these. Hint, Hint.

I bought a generic MOMO cover but when I shifted to 2nd or 4th, it was to tight and did not fit.
Is stock the only way to go?
