Loose where? At Barber MotorSports Park? Mt. Cheehah (sp?) Or just down those crazy high crown roads with the killer ditch on either side?

Seriously, the tower brace offers a nice, but rather fine improvement that only well familiar drivers of their cars will notice. Very good alignment, balance and tight bushings and struts plus steering will all have to be spot on for any difference to be noticed.

how old are your shocks? And were the bushings replaced when the t-bars were done? And what about the state of your front sway bar? How old are the tires and what kind? Pressures? How old are the tie rod ends?

Lots of variables can make it feel "loose."

THe shocks are new HD's, I replaced all the rear bushings with racing low energy bushing when I put the T bars in, I have the front on my desk, just have not had the time to do it.
The tie rods are new Turbo's and the tires are brand new less then 500 miles on them

The front sway bar is stock, I think maybe I can should replace the bushing on it as well.

Zeke,
THat would be in one of the many new developments they are building by me.They put down brand new black top and just leave it, about 5 to 6 months later they start building houses, so It is great to make adjustments and go over there and see how they feel. So far I have not got into any trouble, but like I said there is nobody back there and no traffic driving thur. My own personal 1.5 mile test black top , down here in south Al.

We should all be so lucky!! OK, I recommend getting the new bushings installed and doing a complete alignment and CB before spending any more money.

Braces look cool, I have one. But, I don't think it does a hell of a lot, just doesn't hurt any. It probably keeps things a bit tighter, but Elephant's diagonal brace setup is the real beginning point to stiffening up that portion of the chassis, IMHO. There are others, to be sure, that do as much, but I like Chuck's products because they are well thought out, reasonably priced and available thru Pelican. Also, Chuck has helped us all out a lot with his advice.

Ther are some long threads with varied opinions on the changes in feel or lack thereof when going to a brace. For an early car, I would just get the Elph. (CM's) triangulated one and be done with it.

For the later cars, I recall that someone at TRE (?) likes the Rennxxx brace the best. It's on a thread and I asked which...
