I tend to go by completed sales on Ebay to get a "close" approx of value, only looking at ones that actually sold....
The 2 that show completed on 91 cabs are one with 96k no reserve for $17000 (don't know if the links will work) and one with 59k miles for $27000..... Using averages would put "rough" value around mid 20k range....although that seems low to me..... Very pretty car..... My 2 cents.... Chris |
Completed eBay sales are a joke. I had completed the sale on my 89 turbo once. The top bidder who met the reserve said after the auction ended he’d “be over in a couple of weeks to check it out”. The next guy who met the reserve said his bid consisted of cash plus his 951 which he set the value on. The add clearly said NO TRADES. So those “completed” eBay sales are often times a joke.
If this car PPI’s well and they have the paperwork showing that the flywheel and heads have been addressed I would say low 20’s |
Well....there you go....to each his own......
2 other opinions...... NADA Average Retail $22,700 + low mileage $1,675= $24,375 High Retail $24,250 + low mileage $1,675= $25,925 Kelly BB Trade-In Value $16,050 Private Party Value $20,000 Retail Value $24,150 And while I think NADA is usually overly optimistic & KBB is low, seems to be in line with the ebay theory..... Ultimately, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay and the seller is willing to take for it...... Chris |
$10k for an engine rebuild? Dang, you'd think you could stuff a V8 chevy in it for a lot less
(I'm kidding, please dont hurt me.....) Chris |
