New to the forum

Dear all,

I would like to introduce myself. I own a 1977 930 3.0 and a 2005 Cayenne S. I hope I will enjoy sharing our thoughts on the 911.

I plan to perform a few minor projects on my 930 and one of them is to improve the "soundtrack". I was thinking on a Dansk sport muffer. Does any of you have it installed?. What's your opinion?

Thanks in advance

Muy bien !

Then you qualify to our little European branch !

Regarding exhaust systems I have no personal experience with Dansk, although I hear a lot of guys are very pleased with it.

Hola Mikla. Welcome. Where in Spain are you?

When I was there in June for 2 weeks, I did not see any 911s - new or old. Just a few Boxsters & a couple of Ferraris in Madrid.

Big hand from Barcelona!
Where do you live in Spain?

Madrid is prolly more about Italian cars than Porsches but in Barcelona you'll spot easy 10 911's per day, most of them 996.

I have been living in Barcelona four years now and I must say that Classic car scene is not that big here compared to Scandinavia.

Just posers in Madrid are they?

I wished I had my 911 in Spain. Lots of great driving roads. Even the Autostrade from Granada to Sevilla is a great twisty road. It was never straight for longer than 1 or 2 km. But I only had a Peugeot rental. Fun, but not in the same league.

I like to think in that way but I'm sure Paco Anton will disagree

I just drove down to Valencia last weekend with my SC and I really enjoyed the ride with N-340. Not much cars due the holiday season. Nice views with high speed curves.

I'm jealous now. You have to promise to give a fellow Pelican a Porsche fix if I make it back to Barcelona. I fondly remember some roads around Vilafranca del Penedes that had potential too.
