Talking Just looking for some high-fives.

It was my first engine drop, I feel preatty good about doing it even though my mechanic experience is lest than stellar. I had great fun doing it!

Is that the same face you had on your first lap at G-man with Otto in his 993? Nice work Matt!! Good luck on the gearbox rebuild, and remember taking it apart is easy, it's putting it all back together that's difficult!

You took the wrong engine out! The one in front is the one you need to take out!

Well the throw-out bearing went so that, the clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, and a trans rebuild. And maybe if im lucky a heater back date. BUT only if im lucky.

Don't forget to add an engine lid shock to the list to replace that nifty tube you got there!
Nice Job!

High Five from Alabama. It's nice to know someone else is more worried about their 911 than getting the garage walls painted. At least you have your priorities straight.

Congrats on your accomplishment. After the tranny/clutch work is done and you return the drivetrain to its normal location, you're going to feel really proud of yourself. High fives and two thumbs up!

You cheated. I too have a 79'SC ROW , pulled the engine(less tranny) 2 weeks ago for an airbox swap and I didn't remove the rear bumper or muffler. Sure, do it the easy way.
I forgot to take the obligatory "standing in the engine bay shot" I did however spend a bit of time in there cleaning and detailing.
Good luck...keep the photos coming......Brian
