On my back from the track
Just completed a three day at the Glen. Thousand mile return trip. Great time at the Glen.
Electric gremlins rear their ugly head again. Driving along ( 65mph on the highway) on the road for about 3 hours. Suddenly the tach redlines and falls dead. I was cruising at a constant speed. The motor bucks a couple of times (with my foot on the accelerator-almost like it was losing electrical power, as if the battery was not properly connected) and then settles down. Tach is DOA. All other instruments work fine. Expert advice required. Thanks.

My car was diagnosed with an internally shorted fuel injector. The engine just died and the symptoms were no voltage to the fuel pump, it took TRE three days to figure it out, said they'd never seen that before. Good luck on yours.
