how in the hell?
How do you get the white bushing on to the trailing arm?
This is were the trailing arms connects to the anti sway bar The bushing is white in color I got them on the sway bar, I just can't get them on the trailing arms thanks Derek |
Put some light glock/lubricant on the bushing, make sure it lines up and knock on with a rubber/plastic mallet. Don't knock the hell out of it though.

Try a big c-clamp - piece of cake.

I tried both , I had trouble, I will try again

A big pair of channel locks and some grease.
|
I used a Stanley carpenters pry bar, about a foot long.
I forget what I braced it against, but when you get the leverage just right it pops on easy. |
Was the white bushing , in the sway bar when ya'll Did this?
|
Mine was a real pain. I tried everything, finally was able to get them in using the C-clamp method... on about the 32th try. Just keep at it, you'll get it eventually. Then you have one more to do. :D
|
When I did my bushings they were new (the white ones) Using a hammer was hopeless and I didn't have a C clamp that big. The pry bar method will work, but you need something more beefy than say a large screwdriver.
Wish I took a picture... |
