Setting caster

Hi all-

My 71T tracks well, no pulling or anything, but when I start to make any turn the steering seems to take more initial force then eases up. Someone suggested that the caster may need adjusting. The specs in my manual says 6 degrees 5'. The "feet" figures on alignment specs always throws me and I'm not sure what it means or how to measure it. If you just put an angle finder on the strut housing should it just read 6 degrees if it is set right?

Confused...

Any advice?

The ' is "minutes" (1/60 th of a degree). That would make 6 degrees, 5 minutes equal to 6.0833 degrees.

Steve, here is a link to Smart Racings PDF on using their Smart camber gauge. It explains the process for measuring caster.
