I ordered a cam holding wrench at 9 pm on Thursday. The Post Office van delivered it at 4.30 today, Saturday

I live in Connecticut, 2900 miles from Pelican!!!

We are that good! Competition and modern business practices have had a major impact on USPS. It's not the old post office. Couldn't resist, but it says a lot because in the past I'd have never defended my employer of 31 years. Now I do, and it feels good.

I've gotten stuff to the West coast in 2-3 days via USPS...

There are some advantages to the others, but for some, USPS still works very well. UPS or FedEx charges extra for Sat. delivery...Sat. is just another working day for our carriers.
