911 Festival in Naples

We’re going to have a 911 Festival in Naples Florida. The more 911s we have the more fun we’ll have. This is a 1-day event at Porsche of Naples. The date is Saturday September 17. Email me at Evergladestech@Yahoo.com and let me know what year (and type) of 911 you’re going to bring to this event. Porsche of Naples is providing lunch. Spend a day in Naples Florida.

We'll have another Tech session in March this year. That will include the complete Porsche line.

How many of you guys live in the Naples area? I come down about once a year with my wife. Her parents have a condo on Gulf Shore right by the Venetian Village, so we go when they aren't there.

The Everglades region of PCA (Naples) is pretty active. We have several hundred members. We're not a track group but have a lot of other activities. We do several tech sessions a year, road trips and monthly get togethers. We've got a visit to Collier Museum coming up in a few months.

Great to have an '87. We need more 3.0 and 3.2 cars at this session. We're going to have a great selection of Turbos at this even - including a real DP We need more regular 911s though. Hey - this is Naples

When I'm down there, I mostly see water cooled cars. Is it pretty accurate to say that the majority of cars down there are of the newer persuasion?

BTW, are any of you guys golfers? I'm always looking for partners to hit the courses with.

There are a lot of nice older cars but they tend to be stored away. You don't see them until the season is in full force. There's a 959 that rearly gets driven, and the same for the DP 935. Plus, any number of Carrera GTs.

The basic street driven Porsche 911 is a water pumper.
