Best motor mount set up.. is it.

To go with solid on the rear on the motor and Clubsports on the tranny? I am sure i had heard that somewhere on here before... is that the way to go ..?

Eric,
What do you use the car for? Road, DE, race...?

I like the solid engine, softer gearbox idea. Otherwise too much noise in car.

Wevo makes a really nice mount for street / sportt. Pricey but nice.

Solid mounts may also stuff your f/i around.

I use solid motor and sport trans mounts. NEVER have I had a problem with fuel in my PMO carbs or my Webers. I have been running the solid mounts for 3 years now. They are just fine.

I'll second Mark (also on the Beck's issue!),

I've run PMO, Weber, etc on plenty engines - 3.0, 3.2 and 3.8 and the solid mounts never gave any problems.

We did have one car with fuel problems (carb?) and DID change to the WEVO mounts (and even the SOFT factory mounts). It did NOT solve the fuel problem. When the problem (perculation) was solved we ran solid mounts again.

Solid mounts is the way to go.

Tom
