Chain tensioner upgrade question

What has everyone done with the oil lines that go down to the covers as they pass thru the rear pan? Do you notch the pan, drill holes after installed, grommet them? That pan is a bite in the shorts to get out....I'm not sure what that pipe that comes up on the left side of the fan housing is, but it gets in my way, and I'm looking to delete it before I put the pan back in. Any advise????

I did what Fishcop said, but without the powder coating.
