Angry Car pulls to right

Hi guys,
I have searched the forum but all I have accomplished is to further confuse myself so I decided to post for HELP!!

I replaced front wheel bearings, front and rear pads and calipers and front SS lines. Car braked perfectly and had no problems. Did a DE and half way through the second session, whamo, car pulled violently to right under braking and steering wheel shook violently in my hand.

I found out that the grease seal on the back of the hub came loose ( cheapie bought local, not from pelican) and greased down EVERYTHING. I cleaned everything up, repacked the bearings, replaced the seal ( from Pelican), installed new pads on both sides but I still have the pull under braking and now it pulls to the right all the time.

The car is a 1986 911 TL so it has the 930 brakes on it.

I took the wheel off to check for play in the wheel bearing and can't find any but I did notice that if I grab the top and bottom of the tire I can move the shock up and down about a 1/4 to a 1/2 an inch, is the normal?

Any help or suggestions are appreciated, I can change parts with the best of them but my little experience make diagnosis a little frustrating.

Thanks,
Brian

I suspect that there is still some grease on the left rotor. If it is cross-drilled, some may have come out of the holes.
Also, make sure not to overfill with grease when packing the bearings.

Sounds like you have a caliper sticking (in need of a rebuild).

Sorry I wasn't clear guys. The side that was hosed down with grease was the right side( also the side it is pulling to).

I pulled the pads on the right side and inserted wooden blocks and gently depressed the pedal and it looked like all four pistons extended evenly. I then depressed each one separately and reinserted the pads. Still no good. Could it just be coincidence and I really have a problem with the left?

O.K. check the right caliper for sticky pistons. I excercise the pistons regularly by going back and forth a few times to make sure they don't freeze.
