2 Questions.....!
Hey everybody,
Anyone have an idea of where to find the side slits from a slant nose...i have them currently and i need to replace one but im not sure where to look...Also, where does everyone get there tachs, speedos (and not the bathing suit), etc...im looking for the white or silver inserts...thanks, joe |
I don't think anyone is currently making them new. You will most likely have to find them used. Search e-bay see what you find.

BW Motorsports used to have them

even if you find them- unless they are factory rear fender ducts, you will almost never find ones that have the same shaping inside the duct. best bet is to make cardboard patterns and go to a plastics supply house that offers cutting services. ABS black plastic can be used

Vega: Are your brake duct grates made of steel?
If so, they were likely made by Golden Coachworks of Ill. Out of business for quite some time. You can remove the defective one and easily replicate or have a metal/body shop do it for you. Factory units are purportedly made of wood. Mine are handmade of resin. I textured the surface to resemble the texture of the turbo tail rubber in a satin black. As mentioned, all well fitted aftermarket grates will be unique to the car and position. |
