Not sure about importing from the north to the south, but south to north, no problem. As long as the car is 15 years or older, there shouldn't be many issues.

not sure of the price.. but in general you pay a premium for p-cars up here, regardless of age.

I sold a 1966 Mustang from Canada to a guy in Florida in 2002 . As far as I remember he had nothing to do or pay to import it. I sold it including delivery in the price. When I arrived at US customs they had to physically examine the car to verify that the VIN on my ownership papers matched the numbers stamped on the car That was it.
Importing to Canada is easy if older than 15 years and a little more complicated if newer. US customs needs the title 3 days to check for leins and stolen cars. As stated above P cars are often at a premium in Canada but the dollar moves up and down to change things over time.

My SC came from Toronto originally, but the PO brought it to the US years ago. They all meet US standards, I believe.

The US standard issue might be a problem in some cases. The 930 was sold here all through the 80s . Canada allowed Porsche to sell ROW cars here if no US model was available so we had US spec SCs and Carreras and ROW 930s at the same time. There were also no California emission spec cars obviously. I doubt US customs would notice some of this.

A minor point in your favour is that a 75 CDN spec 911 will have a MPH speedo.
