Pic of brake pads
Rear pads off my '87.
Drivers side - one pad (second from left) is worn much more than the others. Brakes work good. Pistons seem to move freely. The rotor on the drivers side did not have any screws holding rotor to hub. Could the absence of screws cause uneven pad wear? ![]()

No...the wheel and the lug nuts squeeze the rotor hat to the hub....
A little uneven wear is normal...not abby normal. Would consider checking clearances when calieprs are at rest....one COULD be dragging a bit due to a burr in the bore. If it's been more than five years of 50K miles....they prolly can stand a tear down.
