Ruf Bumpers, Paintjob and a ProCooler!
OK...I finally got my car back after EXTENSIVE cosmetic surgery on my 78SC! I am extremely happy and have nothing but good words about the man that busted his tail for me. So, this is an official online plug for Ron Maxwell owner of procooler. He singlehandedly took my rather rough 78' and made her what she is today.
here is the rap sheet if anyone is interested... Ruf Wheels with Dunlop SP8000 tires all the way around. Ruf Mirrors from Better Bodies Ruf Bumpers front and rear from MA-Shaw Fiberglass Carrera Repli-Tail from somewhere Stock rear plastic grill modified to fit front bumper Stock Carrera Fog Lights Complete Ron Maxwell special paint job, Sikkens Paint System Replacement of seat inserts instead of ripped cloth pinstripe on Factory Sport Seats Triad West Dual In Dual Out w/ early HEs Sanden type A/C compressor with a PRO-Cooler! Anyway, Im real happy with how this car is comming around. My next mods will be a tranny rebuild, 3.2 EFI with Megasquirt, silver carpet and an RS america type rear shelf. I have to tell you, I really love these cars. So, if any of you Austin area Pelicans are thinking of something really cool to do with your income tax return. Give Ron a call, you won't be dissapointed. Here are some snapshots. These are no where near as artsy or professional as some of the pics on this board, but you get the idea...looks like my nose came up a bit after the weight reduction, but thats easily fixed!

That looks real good. What's going on with the front bumper smile? Did you cut it off where the fenders meet the hood?

Zamirz,
Thats just some "Roll" I'm still trying to figure out what the proper method is when going to these bumpers...I'm hoping Rdane or Bill Verberg will have a better explanation as to what RUF actually put in there.

WOW, all the lads sat in the control room with me are drooling. Some are asking where they can get one. Great job.

Looks fantastic! Seeing what you have done to your SC inspires me to deplete my retirement account, and do the same to my SC.

Very nice, Kemo.
Rain gutter removal was a very big project. I know there have been some threads, but hearing Alois Ruf talk about the process the last time I was there, you gotta really know what you're doing to get it right.

This calls for a DFW area meet so we can see the car in person
